WHO ARE WE?
We are a group of passionate community members seeking your help to open a community space in Carrboro, NC. We envision the Mutual Aid Triangle Community Hub (MATCH) as a home for projects based in mutual aid and community resilience
This hub will be a physical home for community care, organizing, skill sharing, and various community based projects rooted within the philosophy of mutual aid. It will serve as a third space: neither the drudgery of work nor the isolation of a private home, but a place where everyone can gather to build connections, work on projects they're passionate about, and enjoy each other's company.
Help us light a MATCH that will ignite the community of Carrboro and the larger Triangle community to identify and address our shared needs, and work together to collectively find solutions without relying on government, corporations, or religious groups.
